Palm Beach. — As is their tradition, the members of the Aruba Timeshare Association, ATSA, host a casual get together in January, celebrating the achievements of the outgoing year and raising a glass to the one incoming.

ATSA’s president Sulaika Kelly, Director of Operations at Playa Linda Beach Resort, welcomed invitees to the Horizon Lounge, Amsterdam Manor, where cocktails and hors d’oeuvres were served, by the gracious staffers of the lounge.

Timeshare is the backbone of the Aruban economy consistently showing great figures of occupancy and high ratings of guest satisfaction. According to the ATA report at the end of November, 3,188,084 visitors stayed at timeshare resorts, year to date, which means 30.9% of total visitors. Arrival by accommodations showed a 6.6% growth in 2024, over 2023.

Aruba’s Timeshare Resorts, embrace wholeheartedly the ATA’s multi-annual strategy, a three-pronged approach attracting responsible, sustainable, and regenerative tourism. Visitors staying at timeshare resorts already care deeply about their host destination, their home away from home, its environmental protection, and the well-being of its people. Aruba’s Timeshare Resorts have always put the emphasis on attracting Aruba lovers, as part of their overall visitor base.

According to Kelly, 2024 was an exceptionally successful year, and 2025 already looks promising. The resorts are fully committed to doing their share for the Aruba economy and showering guests with their signature warmth of Aruban hospitality.

ATSA was set up in 1994, and currently counts the active membership of most vacation ownership properties in Aruba. The association works on a local level with other local organizations as well as Government entities.
